All individual, senior, student, and family members may borrow free of charge all scores involving a maximum of 9 instrumentalists. This means all chamber music (F section), solo vocal works and single copies of choral works (A, B & C sections).
Group members may borrow all works available in the catalogue, including parts for all musicians and/or singers in the group. Members of the group do not have library access as an individual, or under the group’s name unless the director of the group gives his/her specific permission (as the group will be responsible for any costs entailed).

Borrowing guidelines
CAMMAC members are entitled to borrow scores from the Music library free of charge following certain guidelines:
- Loans are for four months with the possibility of renewal unless the scores have been reserved by another member.
- Library users who do not live in the area may have music shipped to them by mail, courier or bus at their expense. Shipping costs are usually minimal. Expect to pay between $2.00 (for most parts via mail) and $20.00 (for orchestral and choral scores by bus, ex. Harrington to Halifax).
- The borrower is responsible for timely return of the music. Fines are charged for late returns. Scores which are lost must be replaced by the same edition or CAMMAC will request financial reimbursement at full retail price.
